Poznan University of Technology

Poland's Pozna University of Technology, or PUT for short (Polish: Politechnika Poznaska), is a university. One of Poland's top technical universities is Pozna University of Technology. PUT was regarded as one of the top 6% of universities in the world by URAP, while Webometrics placed it at no. 842 globally in terms of Google citations in 2015. It joined the Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER), a grouping of the top technical institutions in Europe, in 1995, becoming the first Polish university to do so. The institution also supports cutting-edge engineering and a European perspective by participating in the Socrates-Erasmus program for exchange students from all throughout Europe. The institution is the location of the radio station Afera 98.6 MHz, as well as several organizations and student groups. Over 21,000 students attend the institution, and there are over 1100 academic employees.
