The University of Pécs, located in Hungary, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Central Europe, founded in 1367. The University of Pécs is one of the biggest universities in Hungary and the epicenter of knowledge in the Transdanubian region, home to 22,000 students, about 5,000 of them are international students, 1,700 instructors and researchers, and 10 faculties. Its origins can be traced to 1367. The UP stands for traditional ideals while also successfully adjusting to the difficulties of the current and future eras. Its scope is extensive reaching, encompassing several educational domains and going well beyond Pécs. In addition to operating a stand-alone faculty in Szekszárd, the UP also conducts extensive training programs in Kaposvár, Szombathely, Zalaegerszeg, and even abroad in Zombor.
